Ecliptica "¡Olé...Rita!" s/s 2012

This past 14 of October the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico transforms into a magical place for one of the most expected runways of the season, Ecliptica’s “¡Olé...Rita!” Michelle and Norein Otero presented their new collection for spring/summer 2012, inspired by actress and dancer Rita Harworth.   The creative sisters combine Rita’s Spanish heritage with the passion of her performance to create an atmosphere of celebration of a typical fair in Sevilla, Spain.
Through the collection excelled the line patterns, flowery prints, “color blocking”, ruffled and different kind of lace.  The color palette was full of vivid colors including yellow tones as well as fucsia, blue, orange and pink laid in textures like chiffon, French lace with details in crystals.  “¡Ole...Rita!”, was companied by accessories from Alberto Torres’s latest collection “Matador”.  The footwear for the spectacular collection was a creation of the Otero sisters for Novus.  In charge of makeup was makeup artist German O. Mirabal.  The preparation of the hair was a creation of the talented Lio Maldonado.  The styling of the collection was in the hands of the creative Javier Scalley.  The mix of creative elements was the key for creating one of the best runways of the season.
